I recently went back to St Hubert’s church at Idsworth just before sunset, for research material in preparation for a commission.
As the sun sets over the hill opposite, it hits the front of the church, illuminating it against the backdrop of the darkening sky. I painted this little oil study in preparation for the main commission and am offering it at a reduced price as part of the Artist Support Pledge initiative.
